Residential Cleaner – Standard Cleaning
Location: Auckland
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay Rate: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
We are looking for reliable and motivated Residential Cleaners to join our growing team. This role mainly involves standard residential cleaning. Training will be provided, however, some prior cleaning experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
Vacuuming carpets, curtains, and upholstered furniture
Sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing tiled, vinyl, timber, and concrete floors
Tidying rooms, emptying bins, removing rubbish and recycling
Cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorising kitchens, bathrooms, and toilets
Dusting, wiping, and polishing furniture and household items
Cleaning windows and other glass surfaces
Delivering a high standard of service with respect for clients’ property and privacy
Role Requirements
Must be a New Resident Visa holder or NZ Citizen
Minimum 1 year of residential/domestic cleaning or housekeeping experience
Positive attitude and willingness to learn (training provided)
Comfortable with pets in clients’ homes
Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence
Mobile phone with data and ability to take calls as required
Ability to work independently and manage tasks without supervision
Must be flexible to work weekends (rostered shifts)
Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients when needed
Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties
Sound knowledge of safe cleaning practices, chemicals, and OH&S procedures
