Job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Helper for an elderly couple based in Emmer Green, Reading. This help is required both mornings and evenings on a Monday and Friday .

The help would be required twice a week to start with a possibility to be extended to three days a week or more.

Responsibilities

• Performing light cleaning duties

• Assist with laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.

• Serving breakfast

• Bed making .

• Engaging with the client on personal level while having tea/ coffee together

Requirements

• Caring, trustworthy and reliable

• Someone ideally coming from care or domestic household setting

• Local to Reading as we prefer the same person on each visit

Hours: Monday and Friday/ Morning 09:00/ 09:30 - for an hour, Evening 19:00-20:00

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 6 per week
