Job Description
We are seeking motivated and outgoing Door-to-Door Sales Representatives to join the Backyard Barbecue Boys team. This role focuses on generating new customers by introducing homeowners to our professional BBQ cleaning services. Representatives will travel through designated neighborhoods, speak directly with homeowners, and schedule cleaning appointments. The ideal candidate is confident, friendly, resilient, and comfortable engaging with new people. This position is performance-driven and offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy sales, communication, and working independently outdoors.
Duties
Conduct door-to-door outreach in assigned Montreal neighborhoods to introduce Backyard Barbecue Boys services
Engage homeowners in friendly conversations and explain the benefits of professional BBQ cleaning
Generate leads and schedule service appointments with interested customers
Represent the company professionally while interacting with homeowners
Track conversations, leads, and booked appointments during each shift
Follow provided sales scripts and training guidelines while adapting naturally to conversations
Answer basic customer questions about services, pricing, and scheduling
Work independently while covering designated neighborhoods efficiently
Distribute marketing materials or flyers when appropriate
Provide feedback to management about common customer questions or objections
Requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable approaching and speaking with homeowners
Bilingual in English and French preferred
Positive attitude, confidence, and resilience when facing rejection
Ability to work independently and stay motivated during door-to-door outreach
Reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
Comfortable walking for extended periods outdoors
Sales, customer service, or marketing experience is an asset but not required
Ability to represent Backyard Barbecue Boys professionally at all times

Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $25.00-$80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
