Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled software developer to build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework along with Front end experience in jQuery/JavaScript.
In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. You should be a team player and excellent communicator. If you are also passionate about the .NET framework Full Stack and software design/architecture, we’d like to meet you.
Your goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.
We are looking for a Junior Developer with 3+ years of experience. Your primary responsibilities will be to develop web applications, and to coordinate with other team members and working in different layers. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. You must be comfortable with agile methodology and a fast-paced development cycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Assists with the development of various categories of software for applications and web development.
• Assists with development, coding, testing and debugging new software or enhancements to existing software.
• Assists the technical staff with understanding and resolving software problems.
• Assists with planning for future platform requirements to support business needs.
• Assists with quality assurance audits across software platforms to confirm accuracy.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with coding or design.
Position Requirements
• Degree in computer science.
• 2-5 years of experience designing and implementing software applications.
• Deep and broad experience in software engineering: designing, implementing, and refactoring complex systems in C#, ASP.NET.
• Experience in cross-platform development using C#, JavaScript/jQuery and Bootstrap (Preferable React JS and NodeJS)
• Demonstrate ability working with REST APIs and JSON
• Solid experience interacting with database systems through abstraction layers (in addition to the ability to write raw SQL queries) using MS SQL Server
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Solid understanding of a variety of programming tools and development platforms.
• Professional experience analyzing code for weaknesses and errors and overseeing plans to improve them.
• Experience using best practice version control methodologies and tools such as Git, SVN, DevOps
