We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Consultant Specialist
Principal responsibilities :
• Take ownership and accountability of specific modules within an application and provides technical support and guidance during solution design for new requirements, problem resolution for critical / complex issues
• Ensures code is maintainable, scalable and supportable.
• Present demos of the software products to stakeholders and internal/external customers, using knowledge of the product/solution and technologies to influence the direction and evolution of the product/solution.
• Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code and providing fixes (analyzes and fixes bugs) and workarounds, will review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions, will highlight risks and will help mitigate risks from technical aspects.
• Bring continuous improvements/efficiencies to the software or business processes by utilizing software engineering tools and various innovative
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Prior experience of working on a .NET MVC application, Web Services, Microservices, Azure DevOps, Service Fabric Cluster, Design Patterns, MS SQL Server.
• Prior experience SOAP and RESTful webservices and experience handling large XML and JSON files.
• Prior experience with database interaction from .NET framework preferably MS SQL Server database.
• Experience developing using Agile methodology.
• Azure GitHub as code repository.
• Test Driven Development experience is desired preferably xUnit test design using Fluent Assertions framework and Moq framework.
• Able to demonstrate strong independent problem solving, troubleshooting, analytical and conceptual skills.
• Ability to gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development
• Proven track record in designing, developing and deploying applications. Hands-on experience with Windows, Azure DevOps, Azure GitHub, Azure Cloud Services
• Proficiency in using JIRA and Confluence
• .NET Core, Stateless services, Orchestration, Design patterns
