Key Responsibilities
• Development Knowledge : The successful candidate should have a strong background in software development to understand the intricacies of our applications and development workflows. (PHP, Python if any)
• CI/CD Pipeline Management : Implement, enhance, and manage CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Ansible. This includes automating build, test, and deployment processes to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Utilize IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible to configure and manage infrastructure resources efficiently. Create and maintain infrastructure templates to ensure reproducibility and scalability.
• Infrastructure Configuration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and ensure that they align with application needs. Configure servers, networks, and other infrastructure components to meet project specifications.
• Automation and Orchestration : Design and implement automation scripts and orchestration workflows to streamline repetitive tasks, improve system reliability, and reduce manual intervention.(Kubernetes/Docker swarm)
• Monitoring and Optimization : Implement monitoring solutions to track the performance and health of infrastructure components and applications. Proactively identify and resolve issues while optimizing resource utilization.
• Security and Compliance : Implement security best practices and compliance standards within the CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure configurations. Ensure that all systems and processes adhere to security guidelines.
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, CI/CD pipelines, and automation scripts for reference and knowledge sharing.
