Position: Drafter/Designer
Reports to: Director of Engineering
Location: Worcester, MA - Corporate Headquarters
Company Summary:
Nouria is a multi-generational family fuel distributor, convenience store and car wash operator
Our wholesale and retail fuel sites are branded Mobil, Shell, Irving, Citgo, Gulf, Valero, Sunoco, Phillips 66, Exxon, and unbranded brands
Our wholesale operations supply branded and unbranded fuel to over 300 locations across New England and New York
We are ranked in the top 50 largest convenience store chains in the country, operating 150+ company-operated locations throughout New England

Nouria Energy is looking for a Designer/Drafter to join our Engineering Team which supports the Real Estate & Construction Groups while also collaborating with Marketing & Operations Team Members
This unique entry-level opportunity will give exposure to both site/civil layout & design under direct supervision of Licensed Engineers as well as architectural & branding/signage design
We will train.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Generate & maintain standard drawings & details as part of the Corporate Design Standards
• Drafting of site layouts to support the Real Estate & Permitting teams
• Drafting of sign plans and building elevations for Branding projects
• Revise and modify designs based on internal & external review processes, ensuring that all plans, and layouts are compliant with Corporate Design Standards.
• Production of 3D renderings, perspective drawings, and presentation materials
• Assist Permitting Managers as required with zoning due diligence research, etc.
• Collaborate with outside consultants (engineers, surveyors, architects, manufacturers, installers)
• Write & catalog ECN's (Engineering Change Notices) for all updates to the Corporate Design Standards
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or architectural related field, or technical degree/accreditation in Computer Aided Drafting Technology program, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of drafting principles is required.
• Working knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel, AutoCAD/Civil3D, Revit is required.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Attentive to detail.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
Working Environment and Physical Demands
• Work is performed in a standard office environment.
• Occasionally requires bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting to 10 pounds.
• Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically
