The Opportunity

As a Drainage Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering major transport projects across Victoria. From roads to rail, you’ll take ownership of drainage design and project delivery—planning, designing, and executing solutions that meet the highest standards.

You’ll work in design teams and support projects end-to-end, ensuring timelines, budgets, and safety requirements are met. Building strong client relationships will be central to your success, as will your ability to produce clear, technically sound reports and proposals.

Who are you?

A Drainage Engineer with a strong track record in civil infrastructure projects. Your expertise in drainage design—particularly for roads and transport—sets you apart, and you’re confident working in multidisciplinary environments. Building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders comes naturally to you.

You bring:

A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

Hands-on experience around infrastructure projects with consultants, contractors, and government agencies

Technical design skills and proficiency in drainage modelling software

Knowledge of relevant design codes (Austroads, State Transport Authority guidelines)
