DDH1 currently operates a fleet of 72 multi-purpose surface and underground Diamond Core drilling rigs on mine sites and remote locations across Australia.
About the Role
DDH1 Drilling is seeking Drill or Heavy Diesel Fitters who want to join a leading provider of technically innovative drilling services, we offer industry-leading remuneration and working conditions. The work is in Australia servicing various east coast operations, with work operating on mine sites and remote locations.
What we are looking for
Safety focused Drill or Heavy Diesel Fitters to assist with maintenance on our fleet of 72 multi-purpose surface Diamond Core drilling rigs. This opportunity will see you perform breakdown and preventative maintenance on drill rigs. Previous experience working on drilling rigs including UDR1200, DE880, DE710, DE650, Sullair Compressors, MAN trucks, Hino trucks, and CAT experience is highly regarded. You must be able to troubleshoot, work unsupervised and read schematics.
About You
Trade Qualified in Heavy Diesel Mechanics within Australia is essential.
Full Australian working rights – (essential).
Previous experience in mining, and drill rigs – (desirable).
Demonstrated ability and knowledge of interpreting hydraulic and electrical schematics - (essential).
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Strong ability to work remotely and unsupervised.
Self-motivated, quality-focused with an emphasis on workplace health and safety.
