A bit about the role…
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic candidate to join our Point of Sale Team in at Mitre 10 MEGA Petone.
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic candidate who understands the importance of providing outstanding customer service to our trade and DIY customers.
The Point of Sale team deliver the first and last impression of our business and the person we seek for this position must have a high level of integrity, the ability to remain cool under pressure and be able to think on their feet. Previous cash handling experience and customer service experience are a must, while knowledge of timber and building products will be a strong advantage.
To be successful you must have:
A passion for providing excellent customer service
Previous customer service experience is preferrable
The ability to build great relationships with our regular customers
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
Previous cash handling experience
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Confidence in making decisions as required
Confidence using a computer
An outgoing personality with a positive and friendly manner
We are looking for a Full Time Team Member to fill our Sunday - Thursday roster.
