Job Description
Building supplies and timber sales is one of the fastest growing areas of our business – here’s your opportunity to join the Team at Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate.
Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate as part of Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Ltd, is a dynamic and growing company, with a vision to provide great quality products and the best value and expertise to enable our customers to have an affordable and easy Trade experience.
This isn’t a sit-around job. It’s hands-on, boots-on-the-ground action – loading timber, sorting gear, keeping the place humming, operating the forklift and making sure every customer rolls out smiling (and with the right gear in the ute).
What we’re after:
A solid team player who’s not afraid to get stuck in
A passion for Customer Service excellence
Someone who loves helping people and can handle a bit of hustle
Quick thinker, good with your hands, and able to move fast on your feet
Willingness to learn
Physically fit (there will be prolonged walking and standing on concrete floors, manual handling and lifting).
Great communicator – tradies and DIYers alike need clear, confident service
Knowledge of products within building suppliers, timber and trade related products
Full clean class 1 Driver License & Forklift License (or willingness to undergo forklift training)
What's in it for you:
Staff discounts (DIY projects just got a whole lot cheaper)
Mitre 10 Perks - discounts with other businesses and retailers
Westgate location – work close to home
Be part of an iconic Kiwi brand that’s only getting bigger
The Shifts (must be available for full shifts):
16 hours per week: Sunday & Monday
So if you’ve got the muscle, mindset, and motivation to keep our Drive Thru running like a well-oiled forklift, we want to hear from you.
Apply now with your CV and bring your energy to the team at Mitre 10 MEGA Westgate!
