Job Description
We have an opportunity for the position of Driver in our Company based in Auckland. You will be required to work from Monday to Saturday (except Wednesday) from 5AM to 2PM. This is a full-time vacancy with us which allows you to work for minimum 30 hours to 45 hours.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles to deliver juice products to supermarkets and retail clients.
Greet store staff in a professional and courteous manner during each delivery.
Ensure all deliveries are made in accordance with Health & Safety standards, including proper loading and unloading procedures.
Use vehicle tail lifts when necessary to safely handle heavy or bulk product deliveries.
Accurately record and report delivery times, customer feedback, and any route issues to management.
Where applicable, ensure the secure transport and delivery of time- or temperature-sensitive juice products.
Check and report any faults or issues with delivery equipment such as trolleys, straps, or tail lifts.
Immediately report any accidents, product damage, or delivery issues to your supervisor.
Maintain a clean and presentable appearance and follow hygiene standards suitable for handling food and beverage products.
Be available for shift cover or short-notice deliveries when operational needs arise.
Manual loading and unloading of stock at delivery locations — heavy lifting involved up to 25kg.
We are looking for:
Should have at least 1 year of driving work experience.
Should have valid Class 1 driver license or equivalent international driver license and able to drive automatic and manual transmission
Have Good communication skills
Physically fit with an enthusiastic, patient, and caring attitude
A safe and confident driver with a clean record, having held a driving Licence.
Ability to pre-employment drug and ******* test.
Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $28 to $34 per hour.
