Job Description
We are looking for a Floral Assistant and Driver who will support our team with daily deliveries, event set ups and day-to-day operational needs. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
POSITION DETAILS
Full Time
Must be available on weekends and late hours
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Carefully open, unwrap boxes, props and décor
Prepare florals and greens for fridge
Manage inventory/storage space and keep workspaces tidy
Safely secure items in the vehicle to prevent damage during transportation
Pick up standard floral orders
Deliver client orders
Pack van, transport and unload for event set-ups
Assist with event tear downs
Manage weekly garbage
KEY SKILLS
Minimum 2 years of Experience in a similar role
Fluent in English
Valid Licence, exceptional driving record
Personal Vehicle
CANDIDATES MUST BE
Proactive – shows initiative and actively seeks tasks, without the need to be asked
Hard Working & Efficient – willing to roll up their sleeves and get the job done
Energetic -- able to keep up in a fast-paced, high-energy and deadline driven environment
