Full job description
In search of progressively-minded self-direction comm hab staff/driver for 23 year old in the Geneseo area. Minimal support for this fairly self-sufficient individual, timing and days are fairly flexible. Mostly in need of transportation to art and community classes, grocery shopping, eateries, social events, and occasional longer day trips.
5-8 hours/week in 1-2 shifts but this can vary from week to week.
The agency employer is JM Murray - must be willing to onboard with JM Murray if not already.
Mileage reimbursed.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for transporting clients
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or related field (e.g., childcare, social work)
- Ability to effectively and gently communicate and interact with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional boundaries
