As a Driver Helper, you will be responsible for supporting the driver in various tasks related to loading, unloading, and installing appliances.
Duties
• Assist drivers in loading and unloading appliances from vehicles.
• Install appliances.
• Ensure that all items are secured properly for transport.
• Help navigate routes and communicate with the driver regarding delivery schedules.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed to facilitate loading and unloading processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and loading area.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all safety protocols while performing duties.
Qualifications
• Experience with appliance installation is a plus.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to load and unload materials efficiently and safely.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, team members, and customers.
• Valid driver's license is preferred.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to driving and equipment operation.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
