Job Description of Driver Helper:
Join UPS and become a key part of our team during the busiest time of the year. In this role, you’ll work alongside a Package Delivery Driver to deliver packages directly to customers. This active, outdoor position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment, customer interaction, and a flexible schedule.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Driver Helper:
• Ride along with a Package Delivery Driver to assist with package deliveries on a pre-determined route.
• Perform frequent loading and unloading of packages from the truck.
• Provide friendly and professional service while greeting customers.
• Help with packages of various shapes and sizes, lifting up to 70 lbs as needed.
• Work flexibility based on operational requirements, with a meet point often near your neighborhood.
Qualifications and Experience of Driver Helper:
• No prior experience necessary; full training provided.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and endure high levels of physical activity.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Enjoyment of outdoor work, regardless of weather.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Sturdy work boots required for safety and comfort.
