Description:
We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) drivers to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation services to clients traveling to and from medical appointments.
Responsibilities:
Transport clients to medical facilities, pharmacies, and other approved locations
Ensure clients are picked up and dropped off safely and on time
Maintain a clean and professional vehicle at all times
Complete trip documentation and follow all company procedures
Provide excellent customer service, especially for passengers with mobility or health challenges
Communicate effectively with dispatch and follow routing instructions
Requirements:
Prior NEMT driving experience is required
Current ModivCare and MTM certifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must pass background check and drug screening
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Strong understanding of safety and defensive driving practices
Professional appearance and demeanor
Must be reliable and punctual
Preferred Qualifications:
CPR/First Aid certification
Experience working with elderly or disabled passengers
