Sangitam Travels is a leading travel and transport company with a fleet of over 100 buses, committed to delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality service. We are looking for a seasoned Driver Trainer who can instill discipline, improve professionalism, and address real-time challenges faced in daily operations. Ex-defence officers or individuals with strong training experience in logistics/transport sectors are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement driver training modules focused on safety, route discipline, customer etiquette, vehicle handling, and crisis management.
• Conduct regular training sessions, mock drills, and refresher programs for new and existing drivers.
• Identify recurring issues in field operations and design quick-response training modules to address them.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of drivers post-training and provide feedback/coaching.
• Promote a culture of professionalism, punctuality, and accountability.
• Conduct disciplinary briefings, motivational sessions, and skill-enhancement workshops.
• Maintain training records, attendance, assessments, and development plans.
• Work closely with fleet managers and HR to identify training needs and behavioral gaps.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in driver/fleet training, transport operations, driver training, logistics, or fleet operations (Ex-Defence personnel preferred)
• Prior experience handling blue-collar teams; excellent command over Hindi and local languages (English is a plus).
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a no-nonsense attitude toward discipline.
• Knowledge of road safety rules, transport regulations, and passenger handling.
• Ability to handle resistance, manage conflict, and win trust from ground-level teams.
• Ex-Defence or Police Officers with relevant logistics/transport exposure are highly preferred.
