Job Description
Responsibilities:
Customize open source autopilot software to integrate Control Moment Gyroscope (CMG) into drone.
Conduct extensive testing and validation of autopilot software to ensure seamless integration with CMG.
Troubleshoot and debug issues related to autopilot, flight dynamics, software interfaces and CMG
Collaborate with International team to integrate autopilot systems into drone hardware and software architectures.
Perform drone assembly, flying, testing and validate software update
Document and maintain comprehensive technical specifications, user manuals, and development guidelines for autopilot systems and software.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Embedded Engineer or Robotic Engineer or Computer Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
Must have1 Year of Experience in the related project. Having more than 1 year experience is preferable.
Strong knowledge of PID Control + Disturbance Rejection or similar technique to stabilize the drone.
Proficient in customizing autopilot software, with hands-on experience in autopilot firmware development.
Solid programming skills in C or Embedded C or Matlab or Python, with the ability to develop and implement autopilot.
Familiarity with software development tools, version control systems, and software testing methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable autopilot solutions.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for drone operations is a plus.
