Drum Teacher (Rockschool / Contemporary) – Chatswood | Casual
Shaumet Music Academy is a growing music school located in Chatswood, dedicated to delivering high-quality music education to students of all ages. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Drum Teacher to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging drum lessons in both one-to-one and small group settings
Teach students of various ages and skill levels
Develop structured and personalized lesson plans
Support students in preparing for Rockschool (RSL), Trinity, or other contemporary music exams
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
Create a positive, motivating, and professional learning environment
About You:
Experience teaching drum kit (Rockschool / contemporary styles preferred)
Familiar with styles such as rock, pop, funk, and modern genres
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passionate about music education and student development
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Requirements:
Valid Working With Children Check (required)
Full working rights in Australia
Relevant music qualifications (preferred)
