Job Description
We are looking for a Drupal Developer primarily responsible for back-end/module development. The ideal applicant has a strong background in Drupal 8 and hands-on experience in creating and maintaining custom Drupal modules. Prior experience in building decoupled Drupal sites preferred, but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
Translate client requirements and business logic into Drupal modules.
Responsible for complex Drupal development tasks including custom module development using the Drupal API system and hooks from major Drupal core systems.
Work closely with the front-end developer and/or clients to achieve an effective and visually appealing design.
Responsible to identify, analyze, and solve problems systematically rather than solely by intuition or instinct; look for root causes, not just symptoms of the problem; weigh pros and cons of actions; and decide when to escalate issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Have hands-on experience with building Drupal 8 websites or web-apps.
2+ years of experience using Git source code versioning and Pull Requests
Have a good understanding of using Composer, drush and drupal configuration management.
Prior experience with Drupal and PHP implementations in a LAMP environment
Deep familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g., Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs.
Nice to Have
Building REST APIs using Drupal
Experience in using Docker.
Experience with other content management systems and open-source technologies
