Job Description: DTP Operator
Report to: Head of Online Business
Location: Mumbai
About the role:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented DTP Operator to design, format, and produce high-quality print and digital materials. The candidate should have strong command over DTP software, good layout sense, and the ability to work within deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Design and format documents, brochures, flyers, books, manuals, advertisements, and other marketing materials.
· Prepare print-ready files as per required specifications.
· Ensure accuracy in text, alignment, layout, fonts, and images.
· Coordinate with content, marketing, and printing teams for corrections and final outputs.
· Edit, update, and revise layouts based on feedback.
· Maintain consistency of branding and design standards.
· Handle scanning, image correction, resizing, and color adjustments.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities for the Role:
· Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW (mandatory).
· Good knowledge of page layout, typography, and color concepts.
· Basic knowledge of printing processes and file formats.
· Attention to detail and strong quality-check skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
· Good time management and communication skills.
· Experience in publishing / education / advertising industry.
· Knowledge of regional languages (if applicable).
· Ability to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy.
Education and Experience:
· Diploma / Certification in DTP, Graphic Design, or related field.
· Graduate preferred but not mandatory.
· 1–3 years of relevant experience as a DTP Operator (fresher with strong skills may also apply).
