Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative Interior Design Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to assist our interior design team in various aspects of design projects, from conceptualization to execution. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with Design Concepts:
Support senior designers in the development of creative interior design concepts.
Help create mood boards, color schemes, and layout plans for projects.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide input on design ideas.
Assist with Technical Drawings:
Assist in drafting and preparing floor plans, elevations, and other design documentation using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.).
Help with revisions of technical drawings based on feedback from senior designers and clients.
Material and Product Research:
Assist in sourcing materials, furniture, and fixtures for projects.
Research new trends, materials, and products relevant to ongoing projects.
Help with the selection and procurement process by creating sample boards or product lists.
Client Presentation Support:
Help in preparing presentations for clients by organizing design concepts, mood boards, and design layouts.
Participate in meetings with clients (if applicable) to gain exposure to the design process.
Site Visits:
Assist in site visits to inspect and measure spaces, observe progress, and collect information for the design process.
Help senior designers with documenting the site conditions and taking photographs for project reference.
Project Coordination:
Assist in maintaining project timelines, schedules, and ensuring tasks are completed on time.
Help coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Administrative Support:
Support the design team in day-to-day tasks such as organizing design materials, filing, and managing documentation.
Maintain and update project files and documents as required.
Education:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office.
Strong creative and artistic abilities with a good eye for design, color, and composition.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of 3D rendering software (e.g., 3ds Max, V-Ray) is an advantage.
A keen interest in sustainability and eco-friendly design practices.
Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time/part-time internship position.
Working hours: insert details, e.g., +:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday .
Duration: 3 months, 6 months .

Pay: 5,000.00 - 10,000.00 per month
