Job: Release Manager
As part of DB's "Galileo programme" The Release Manager needs to interface and communicate with development team, test team, IT operations as well as other internal and external stakeholder(s) to ensure the readiness of the release. He will own the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the book of work. He will own and manage the releases and ensure they are production ready. He collaborates with the said support functions and represent the release(s) in the change management forums.
• Create and Maintain timelines for each release.
• Coordinate technical and operational implementation.
• Chair Go/No-Go decision.
• Obtain sign-off for business live proving and operation readiness.
• Manage expectations of stakehodlers through regular communications and accurate reporting at each milestone.
• Responsible for resourcing- capacity and workloads within components/project.
