Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and guest services, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service during their stay. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth running of the hotel while supervising staff and addressing any guest concerns promptly.
Duties
Supervise daily operations to ensure high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest inquiries.
Lead and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain operational efficiency.
Address guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the hotel premises.
Conduct staff training sessions to enhance service delivery and operational knowledge.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and guest feedback for management review.
Assist in the F&B operations of the hotel, therefore a good knowledge of food service in a hotel environment including bar operations is an advantage.
Skills
Strong background in hospitality management with experience in hotel operations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team.
Proficient in guest services, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors.
Experience in human resources practices related to staff management and training.
Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
