Your Role:
As a Front Office Duty Manager, you are responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the front office department at the hotel. Responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing the front office during a specific shift, ensuring proper staffing and coverage.
• Ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction by handling guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
• Managing the check-in and check-out process, including room assignments, billing, and key handling.
• Supervising front desk staff, including receptionists, concierge, bellboys, and night auditors.
• Providing training and guidance to front office staff to ensure they follow hotel policies and deliver excellent customer service.
• Acting as the point of contact for emergency situations and implementing established procedures, such as fire or evacuation protocols.
• Handling cash and payment transactions, preparing financial reports, and assisting with revenue control.
• Managing room reservations, ensuring accurate booking information, and optimizing room availability.
• Resolving any issues, conflicts, or guest complaints that arise during the shift.
• Ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and the property by enforcing security protocols.
• Performing administrative duties, such as record-keeping, email management, and phone call handling.
• Ensuring that front office operations adhere to hotel policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Coordinating with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to address guest needs.
Skills & Requirements:
• Hotel Management and/or skill relevant education preferred
• Pleasing personality and good communication skills
• Computer dexterity: MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Prior relevant hospitality experience in position of application.
• Must be open to joining at any of the AM Hotel Kollection locations (AM Hotel Kollection is now at 11 locations & growing)
