Sitting on the banks of the Hastings River, The Westport Club is home to over 15,000 members and is one of Port Macquarie's premier venues. With over 200 gaming machines, an ala carte restaurant, cafe, cocktail lounge, event centre and promotions, we are a bustling venue 365 days a year.

Our Duty Manager role combines the best of leadership and club operations management. You'll build relationships with our team of around 100 who work across multiple outlets throughout and beyond our 1+ hours of operations a day. You'll be the nucleus of everything happening in our club as you keep our venue safe, coordinate our schedules, undertake cash management, and ensure all our outlets function seamlessly.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced Duty Manager who has developed great leadership skills across venues of different sizes anywhere in the world. If you are successful in your application you will have an understanding of managing multiple areas in a business at once and have the ability to work in a 4-week rotating roster that is across our and beyond our opening hours

For your application to progress in our recruitment process you will need:

At least 12 months experience coaching and managing a team in a high-volume hospitality environment

A valid NSW RSA & RCG qualification - a NSW ARCG would be highly regarded

Confidence to work independently and part of a team to resolve issues for both your teammates and customers

General knowledge & experience of club operations and associated legislation

The ability to hold others accountable to deliver an exceptional customer experience time after time

The ability to work across all opening hours of the club and, at times beyond these opening hours

A high level of emotional intelligence, communication skills and the means to coach others
