What You'll Bring:
The incumbent will play a vital role in strategy formulation, business development and development of thought leadership to engage Fintechs players and BNPL business owners in Banks and NBFCs across embedded finance, fraud prevention and other related use-cases. S/he will work across lines of business at TransUnion to bring deals, partnerships, capabilities and strategic alliances across leading players from this industry. S/he will be responsible for understanding and supporting the growth vision, strategy planning, new business model innovation, metric creation and tracking, resourcing and mitigating risks for TU’s business with such clients.
Role will involve an individual to work closely with Sales Key Account Managers (KAMs) to help members building BNPL/Fintech businesses and solve their CBIs via TU existing and new products. Individual will also be responsible for driving the strategy and product development within TU for products specific to BNPL and Fintech use-cases. Individual would be required to have work closely with product, IT, strategy and sales and Operations teams
Skills & Experience
Master’s degree in Business or Finance from a Tier-1 institution
A minimum of 12-14 years’ experience in Lending, Digital Payment, FinTech or a relevant industry
A thorough understanding of the BFSI & FinTech industry and related performance deliverables and metrics
Strong track record and acumen of Business Management, Business Development and Strategy Formulation
Ability to deal with business growth demands in the face of ambiguity and challenges
Ability to develop deep insights and thought leadership across industry segments
Excellent verbal and written communication and high interpersonal skills
An analytical bent of mind to interpret numbers, MIS metrics both tactically and strategically
Ability to work under pressure to deliver beyond target expectations
Extremely strong customer focus and CXO engagement skills
Good working knowledge of MS Office, i.e.; Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
Good planning and organizing skills
Possess entrepreneurial spirit and competitive attitude
Hard working and having an eye for detail
Lots of energy and passion for achieving targets
Impact You'll Make:
Build relationships with key decision makers, CXOs / Founders across established and emerging BNPL players (across Banking & FinTech lenders), Neo Banks, WealthTechs, TechFins and Marketplace Aggregators
Help TU formulate mid to long term strategy to grow the business and our ability/capability to penetrate deeper into the FinTech and BNPL industries and deliver better value to the ecosystem
Bring hands-on industry experience in and knowledge of building digital lending and FinTech businesses (sourcing and P&L responsibilities) to drive the development of insights, thought leadership and industry imminence
Discover existing as well as new critical business issues in all BNPL/Fintech industry segments. Help create GTM plans wherein TU can help solve key issues for them with its existing or new capabilities and constantly refine the product-market fit for TU
Drive strategic business initiatives through cross-functional collaboration and own/track programs end-to-end
Grow revenue across members and non-member BNPL and FinTech segments (defined above) by increasing product coverage and penetrate across all identified TransUnion Product Offerings to achieve Org targets
Work closely with the Business Head in tracking opportunities and driving closure on them as per expected targets.
