Role Description: The Process Executive will be responsible for completion of day-to-day activity as per standards and ensure accurate and timely delivery of assigned production duties. He/she needs to ensure adherence to all cut-off times and quality of processing as maintained in SLAs. He/she should ensure that all queries/first level escalations related to routine activities are responded to within the time frames pre-specified. Should take responsibility and act as backup for the Peers in his/her absence and share best practices with the team.

Your key responsibilities:
• Candidate is required to work for Asset Management – Portfolio services Group in the Corporate Actions and Proxy Voting Team.
• Proxy Voting responsibilities include ensuring all proxies are voted in the best economic interest of clients according to the DWS Proxy Voting Policy & Guidelines and in compliance with US proxy voting regulations. The team is the direct point of contact for the Proxy Voting Sub-Committee, Compliance, Legal, Portfolio Managers, Board Relations, and Institutional Shareholder Services (DWS Proxy Vendor) for all voting matters. The team is a first-line of defense and acts as a liaison between aforementioned parties for various escalation, oversight, reporting, and secretarial responsibilities.
• Class Actions responsibilities include coordinating the filing of eligible claims with vendors, law firms, and DWS legal teams to ensure participation and good standing of DWS funds' claims, confirming receipt of checks / income upon settlement of claims.
• He / She is required to process corporate actions Events in the Accounting systems.
• Candidate is required to work on Reconciliation of CA between Our system and Custodian.
• Candidate is required to send the CA Instructions out to external parties.
• Candidate is required to communicate via mails / calls with External parties regarding CA.
• Candidate should have knowledge on Investment Banking and Asset Management.
• Excellent knowledge on corporate action is preferable.
• Candidate should have good communication skills (Reading/Writing/Speaking) and Email etiquettes.
Your skills and experience:
• Experience in handling client escalations and resolutions in best possible manner.
• Needs to be a self-starter with significant ability to undertake initiatives. Strong interpersonal / good negotiations skills are required. Follow through skills, Effective communication skills, fluency in Microsoft Office skills, ability to confidently handle internal clients, futuristic and innovative approach will be expected.
• Ability and willingness to work in night shift is a must.
Qualification
• Graduates in Commerce/ BBA/MBA in Finance with good academic records.
• Any certifications in securities such as NCFM modules, CISI etc will be good but not compulsory
