Job Summary: Senior Dynamo Script Engineer will be responsible for creating, implementing and optimizing custom Dynamo scripts for various AEC applications, collaborating with architects, engineers and other stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and contributing to the development of new features and tools The engineer will have expertise in programming languages such as C# or Python and experience with Dynamo's visual programming platform, as well as a deep understanding of AEC workflows and technologies and will design, develop and optimize custom Dynamo scripts for various AEC applications, including building information modelling (BIM), computational design and data analysis. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Develop, implement and maintain Dynamo scripts for automating different tasks in BIM Collaborate with the team and managers to understand problem statements and work challenges Provide Dynamo technical support and troubleshooting assistance to the team Stay updated, research and develop newer technology related to Dynamo, automation, add-ins and Revit Understand Revit Architecture, MEP systems and background details, develop scripts for automation Know Python and Revit APIs, develop custom nodes using Python and Revit API Develop custom nodes using Python and Revit API Develop document workflows, scripts and tools in a structured manner Provide training and support to teammates based on requirements Independently communicate with stakeholders, team leaders Plan and implement efficient automation scripts to accelerate project modelling, QC, etc Accept and implement constructive feedback Qualification and Experience Required: BE/BTech in mechanical engineering or a related field Minimum 4 year’s full-time experience in developing Dynamo scripts and 2 years of experience in working with Revit on projects Experienced in Dynamo script development Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Revit APIs Familiarity with BIM concepts, tools and software Extensive work experience in Revit software
