• Job Title:** Dynatrace Specialist
• Location(s):** Seattle, WA**Overview:** We are seeking an experienced Dynatrace Solutions Architect to define and drive the enterprise-wide observability strategy leveraging Dynatrace. This role will focus on designing scalable, secure, and resilient monitoring architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
• *Key Responsibilities**
• **Architecture & SME**
• Define the overall observability architecture using Dynatrace for on-prem, cloud (Azure, GCP), and containerized environments.
• Establish standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for monitoring, alerting, and tagging strategies.
• Develop reference architectures and solution blueprints for application performance management (APM) and digital experience monitoring.
• **Solution Design & Integration**
• Architect integrations between Dynatrace and enterprise platforms (CI/CD pipelines, ITSM tools, cloud-native services).
• Design advanced synthetic monitoring, RUM, and DEM strategies to ensure end-to-end visibility.
• Lead migration strategies from Dynatrace Managed to SaaS, including risk assessment, planning, and execution oversight.
• **Performance & Optimization**
• Define methodologies for proactive performance tuning and anomaly detection leveraging Dynatrace Davis AI.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards for executive and technical stakeholders using Dynatrace Query Language (DQL).
• Drive automation initiatives for monitoring deployment and configuration across large-scale environments.
• **Leadership & Collaboration**
• Act as the primary technical authority for Dynatrace within the organization.
• Partner with Cloud, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to align observability with business continuity and scalability goals.
• Mentor engineers and SMEs on architectural principles, advanced Dynatrace capabilities, and governance compliance.
• *Required Qualifications**
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise monitoring and observability, with at least 5 years in Dynatrace architecture and design.
• Deep expertise in Dynatrace SaaS and Managed platforms, including DQL and advanced dashboarding.
• Strong understanding of multi-cloud architectures (Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, PCF).
• Proven experience in designing integrations with CI/CD, ITSM, and automation frameworks.
• Solid grasp of networking, distributed systems, and application performance principles.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence stakeholders and guide technical teams.
