Job Title: E-commerce Accountant

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled E-commerce Accountant to handle financial operations, track sales and purchases on Tally, manage inventory, file GST returns, and prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) statements. The role requires strong accounting knowledge and experience in e-commerce business transactions.
Key Responsibilities:Record and reconcile daily sales and purchase transactions on Tally from e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Website, etc.).
Manage inventory accounting, stock entries, and adjustments.
Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time.
Track payment gateway settlements, refunds, and commissions from online platforms.
Maintain books of accounts and ensure accuracy in invoices and billing.
Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and financial reports.
Assist with compliance including TDS, audits, and statutory requirements.
Support management with MIS reporting and financial analysis.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant (preferably in E-commerce or Retail industry).
Strong knowledge of Tally ERP and inventory management.
Hands-on experience with GST filing, returns & reconciliations.
Good knowledge of financial statements, P&L preparation, and taxation.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting tools.
Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.
