We are looking for a highly skilled E-commerce Specialist to help us transform the way rugs are sold online! This is a full-time remote role - work from anywhere in Australia!

The role


We’re looking for a data-driven, hands-on eCommerce Specialist with a passion for Shopify and conversion rate optimisation (CRO). In this role, you’ll drive digital merchandising strategies, leverage personalization tools, and execute high-impact initiatives to increase profitability, average order value (AOV), and overall revenue.


The ideal candidate thrives in both strategic and operational capacities—whether it’s optimising our tech stack, analysing customer segments, or launching revenue-boosting features across the customer journey.


Key Responsibilities:


Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Shopify Plus stores, ensuring a high-performing and frictionless shopping experience.
Implement and optimise site features, integrations, and new technology to enhance performance.
Regularly audit the site to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for speed, accessibility, and UX.
Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
Leverage personalisation tools and customer segmentation to deliver tailored shopping experiences.
Implement strategic upselling and cross-selling initiatives to boost AOV and profitability.
Conduct A/B testing to refine on-site messaging, CTAs, and layout.
Analyse customer behaviour and sales trends to inform data-driven strategies.
Utilise Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics (GA4), and CRM data to drive continuous improvement. The resolution of this data to be reported back to key stakeholders.
Monitor site performance and implement solutions to optimise speed and usability.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience with Shopify eCommerce, ideally within a high-growth DTC brand.
Expertise in site information architecture (IA), conversion rate optimisation (CRO), digital merchandising, customer journey mapping, and AOV-boosting strategies.
Strong ability to collect and analyze both implicit and ******** customer data to drive insights and actions.
Experience managing Shopify apps and third-party integrations to enhance site functionality.
A data-driven mindset with a proven ability to extract insights and translate them into actionable improvements.
Hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Shopify Analytics, and CRM platforms.
Solid understanding of SEO best practices and UX/UI principles to optimise user experience.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
A proactive problem-solver with a keen attention to detail and a passion for driving results.
