At Civica, we are seeking an eLearning content creator with a focus on video creation to join our Local Government team.
As an E-Learning Content Creator, you’ll play a key role in designing and producing clear and concise Video guides and eLearning content that supports our customers in understanding and using Civica’s products.
You will work across video recording, editing, storyboarding, content development, LMS administration, and stakeholder engagement—ensuring all content aligns to our broader content strategy and brand standards.
You’ll join a supportive team, collaborate with product and customer teams, and contribute to a high-quality learning experience that underpins strong customer outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have at least an intermediate level of experience in editing videos using Camtasia video editing software, a history of creating video step by step process guides, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
What you'll be doing
Record, Edit (intermediate knowledge of Camtasia Video Editor functions required) and Produce educational videos of Civica software, before uploading to the LMS.
Ability to produce high-quality digital content, including training videos, assessments and evaluations
creating clear and concise process guide video content that aligns with our brand and marketing goals.
Maintain and update content in line with product releases and updates
Manage and Maintain LMS content
Support the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS)
Ensure all content aligns with Civica’s branding and content strategy
Work closely with internal stakeholders and customers to deliver engaging learning experiences
Facilitate training sessions where required
Meet performance targets and advocate for strong customer outcomes
Requirements
What you will need to be successful in this role
Hands-on intermediate level editing experience with TechSmith Camtasia and Audiate tools
Experience in a similar digital content or eLearning development role
Strong creative thinking and the ability to bring ideas to life
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Comfortable working alone at home
Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities
Ability to deliver content aligned to project timelines and budgets
Willingness to travel interstate when required
