The Role
As our Early Careers & Campus Events Specialist, you’ll design, plan and deliver standout events that connect students with exciting career opportunities. You’ll use student insights, market trends and your own creativity to build an engaging events calendar and you’ll be the go-to expert for everything related to early careers events and recruitment marketing.
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, collaboration and impact. One day you might be running a flagship virtual event, the next you’re on campus representing the brand, and the next you’re analysing event data to shape future strategy.
What you’ll be doing
Event Planning & Delivery
Lead the planning and execution of early careers events across EMEA, virtual and in personincluding career fairs, presentations, pop-ups, simulations and webinars.
Own the Virtual Event Series end-to-end: content creation, design, promotion, speaker coordination, live deliveryand post event
Create compelling event communications (invites, pre-event, post-event) and prepare supporting materials such as presentations and briefing packs.
Track event budgets and sponsorship spend, ensuring accuracy and cost-effectiveness
Key Accountabilities
Maintain oversight of the events and staffing tracker, running weekly check-inswith Recruiters to ensure alignment.
Represent the client at on-campus, in officeand virtual events as needed.
Partner with Early Careers leadership on pre-university initiatives.
Analyse event performance, feedbackand insights to drive data-led improvements and demonstrate
Manage event merchandise from item selection to purchasingensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Keep key stakeholders informed with regular updates on the events programme.
Build strong relationships with Recruitment, Firm Marketing and Global Recruitment Marketing teams.
Gather feedback from hiring managers and event attendees to continuously enhance the experience.
Act as a guardian of the client’s EVP, ensuring a consistent and compelling message across all campus touchpoints.
Review campaign data to identifyopportunities for optimisation.
Team Collaboration
Champion AMS values and contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.
Mentor and guide junior team members on best practices and client expectations.
Escalate issues where needed to ensure smooth delivery of recruitment services.
Skills & Experience
What you’ll bring
Must haves
Experience or strong interest in recruitment marketing, talent attraction or early careers engagement.
Proven experience managing events in a large, complex or matrixed organisation.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
Strong analytical skills and able to interpret data, measure impact and report outcomes.
Solid project management capability, from planning through to execution.
Experience managing budgets and ensuring financial accuracy.
Highly organised, detail-driven and able to juggle multiple priorities.
Understanding of talent personas and strong copywriting/content creation skills.
Nice to have
Experience with campus events, university partnerships or early careers/graduate recruitment.
Background in Professional Services or Financial Services environments.
