As part of our team, your responsibilities will include:
• Implementing KinderCare's curriculum tailored to the individual needs of each child.
• Creating a safe and nurturing environment conducive to play and learning.
• Engaging with parents to foster a partnership focused on delivering the best care and education.
• Supporting the center’s goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement.
• Building positive relationships with families, fellow teachers, licensing authorities, and corporate partners.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to meet state-specific qualifications for the role or a willingness to attain them.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or readiness to obtain them.
• Physical capability to lift 40 pounds and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Able to engage with children physically and visually to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to communicate effectively with children and parents.
Hourly pay is $18.60. In Minnesota, there is an additional $3.00 per hour premium for all classroom hours worked, funded through the Minnesota Great Start Grant Compensation Support Program.
