Overview
Ummah Society/ Maritime Muslim Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to early childhood education and the ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children.
Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage creativity and critical thinking.
Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment for all children.
Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
Facilitate daily activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance the educational experience.
Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the classroom.
Experience
A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
ECE Classification (required)
Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children are essential qualities.
