About The Role:
Qualifications: Registered Early Childhood Educator (Registered at the College of ECE)
Employment type: Full time (Permanent)
Job Duties:
Plan, implement and review children’s experiences in accordance with the center’s philosophy and program goals.
Utilize the four foundations of How Does learning Happen “Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years” and ELECT (Early Learning for Every Child Today: Framework) with daily planning and developmentally appropriate documentation of children’s progress and needs
Guide children’s behavior to promote autonomy and positive self-concept
Ensure the child’s environment is healthy and safe
Encourage and support active family involvement
Observe and assess children’s progress and behavior to ensure the programs meet individual and group needs
