EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR

Permanent Full Time (1.0 FTE)

Join a strong team of experienced and engaged teachers and staff at Whistler Waldorf School in beautiful Whistler, BC. We

are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educator for a 1.0 FTE (full-time equivalent of 40 hours)

permanent position for the 2025/2026 school year starting June 2025. ECE positions start at $22-$27 per hour (based on

experience, full-time hours, etc.). Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, supporting certificates and

Whistler Waldorf School offers all teachers and staff:

The perfect candidate will have:

an ECE Certification for B.C. A Waldorf Early Years Certification is a bonus and/or willingness to commit to more

training for Waldorf Early Years Certification.

an applicable ECE certification (for Canadian or International candidates) which is eligible for transfer/

application for a licence to practice ECE in BC (through B.C.’s Ministry of Children & Family).

a B.C. Emergency First Aid Certificate for working with young children

Excellent professional and collaborative skills with the ability to foster professional relationships between

teacher & parents and work well with other Faculty/ Administrative Staff colleagues.

A Canadian citizenship and/or eligibility to work in Canada. WWS will administer a current Criminal Record

Check.
