Position Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our growing team. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, building positive relationships with children and families, and maintaining a healthy, safe, and inclusive learning space.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and implement play-based learning experiences aligned with Alberta’s Flight Framework
Foster a caring and inclusive classroom environment that supports the emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children
Build positive and collaborative relationships with children, parents, and staff
Ensure compliance with Alberta Child Care Licensing Regulations
Observe and document children's learning and development
Support children’s transitions and daily routines with patience and professionalism
Qualifications
Alberta Child Care Certification Level 2 or 3
Valid First Aid in Childcare and CPR Level B
Recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
Knowledge of Alberta’s Flight: Early Learning and Care Framework is an asset
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Passion for working with children and a commitment to continuous learning
