Job Summary
Candidates for the position need to share their connections to Christian faith such as church affiliation, their faith journey, and/or compose a statement of faith.
Alberta Childcare wage top-up program available for certified staff. Candidates who desire to further their formal education may be considered. Opportunities exist for advancement. Hourly wage will be discussed in interviews and based on related experience.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote holistic development.
Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including those of children with disabilities or special needs.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and individual progress.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
ECE Level 2 or 3 certification for Alberta, Canada
Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage with families from diverse backgrounds.
Familiarity with computerized record-keeping systems is advantageous.
Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
First Aid Certificate would be an asset
Food Handling Certificate would be an asset
