ECT Teacher position.
This is a role for an experienced educator that has a strong desire to care, nurture and educate children aged 6weeks to 6yrs
As an ECT you will hold an early childhood degree qualification and be NESA registered.
As an ECT, you will have a strong ability to inspire your team, communicate with your families, plan and implement your curriculum. We are looking for a ECT that has a voice to implement exciting new learning opportunities and inspire community involvement across the centre. You will have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQF. You will need recent Child Protection qualifications and training.
Your hours will be between 7am and 6pm and you will be expected to have the skills and knowledge to be appointed the responsible person at times. We are a new, beautifully designed service in the heart of Baulkham hills already building a great team culture…we laugh together, learn together and care together.
Essential Criteria:
To be considered for the position you must meet the following essential selection criteria:
Degree qualification in early childhood as recognised by ACECQA and registered teacher with NESA
Approved first aid qualification; anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management certificates; child protection training and current working with children clearance
Knowledge to meet a Responsible Person duties.
Strong programming and planning skills, using an app based platform an advantage
Team player that sees the good in people and a strong positive outlook on life
