We have an exciting opportunity to join Georges River Council within our Community and Culture Directorate, as an Early Childhood Teacher to join our professional and inclusive team at Jack High Childcare Centre, Beverly Hills.


About The Role

The Early Childhood Teacher, is expected to be an active, engaged, leader as part of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to the community.

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will ensure the early years lay the foundation for a future love of learning. Our dedicated educators serve as role models for fostering a healthy habits lifestyle, guiding children towards making positive choices in nutrition and physical activity. In addition, this role is critical in establishing strong relationships with families and staff to achieve an inclusive environment that is focused on quality outcomes for children.

What We Offer

Permanent Full-Time salary from $97,312.49 to $112,750.82 per annum plus 12% superannuation dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate

Ongoing Education and Resources
The successful candidate will have

Current Working with Children Check, with at least 6 months until expiry.
NSW Department of Education and Communities approved Early Childhood Education and Care Qualification. ACECQA approved or recognised teaching qualification (i.e., either a Bachelor of Teaching or Education or equivalent)
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificates, with at least 6 months until expiry
NESA accredited teacher in the categories of either: Graduate, Proficient, highly accomplished or lead
NSW Department of Education and Communities approved Child Protection Training Certificate
Sound communication skills and ability to relate well to children, parents, staff, volunteers and the community.
Understanding of Work Health and Safety Requirements.
The ability to develop, document and implement an educational program for children.
Knowledge and understanding of all current legislation governing early childhood education and care, including the National Quality Framework
The ability to lead, support, motivate and mentor staff.
Demonstrated ability or willingness to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
