High View School are looking to appoint an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their thriving setting. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant, who shares the ethos of our school and is committed to supporting us in delivering exceptional education to the community we serve. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have a growing understanding of how children learn.

This is a temporary position linked to funding. The position is initially expected to end on 31.03.2026, however there is potential that it could be extended beyond this.

The working hours will be Monday - Friday, 1 hour per day in the afternoon.

This role is to undertake the day to day duties of caring for children in our early years setting to ensure they reach their full potential, working alongside the teacher. The successful applicant will be expected to be able to perform as a member of our small team and be an effective communicator.

The successful candidate will have:
• NVQ 3 or equivalent qualifications/experience
• Knowledge of First Aid (training provided)
• Maths and English skills to fulfil the duties of the role
• Understanding of the Early Years and child development
