About Epsom North Kindergarten
We provide an inclusive and culturally responsive environment for up to 30 tamariki each day, celebrating the diverse languages, cultures and identities within our community.
Whānau are warmly welcomed into our kindergarten, supporting smooth and positive transitions.
We maintain strong relationships with local schools including Epsom Normal School, Kohia Terrace School, Cornwall Park District School and Newmarket School to support continuity of learning.
About You
We are seeking a qualified and registered ECE kaiako with a current first aid certificate who is passionate about play-based learning and committed to tamariki wellbeing and success.
You will:
Champion tamariki-led learning and view tamariki as capable, confident and curious learners.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of Te Whāriki and confidently lead bicultural practice with cultural integrity.
Build authentic, respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues.
Plan, assess and document learning thoughtfully and effectively.
Use digital tools appropriately to enhance learning experiences.
Value inclusion and celebrate diversity within your practice.
Enjoy hands-on, creative learning experiences and embrace the joy and energy of early childhood environments.
Integrate sustainability and a love of the natural world into your teaching practice.
