Are you a passionate ECE Kaiako who thrives in a collaborative and inclusive environment? Do you believe in the power of whanaungatanga (building strong relationships) to nurture young learners? If so, Massey Kindergarten could be your perfect whānau!

We're seeking a dedicated Kaiako to join our vibrant team in fostering a thriving learning community. At Massey Kindergarten, part of Ngā Tamariki Puāwai o Tāmaki |Auckland Kindergarten Association (AKA) we celebrate the unique cultural backgrounds of our tamariki and their whānau through a multicultural lens guided by Te Whāriki, early childhood curriculum. Our Philosophy is aligned with the Te Ao Māori values of Manaakitanga, Whanaungatanga, Kaitiakitanga and Kotahitanga. Te reo Māori and Te Ao Māori are woven through our daily practice.

If you are a passionate Kaiako who enjoys:

Play-based learning and fostering a love of exploration

Qualified and registered ECE Kaiako with a current first aid certificate

Building strong relationships with tamariki, whānau, and colleagues

Championing Te Tiriti o Waitangi (Treaty of Waitangi) principles and bicultural practice

Planning, assessing, and documenting learning journeys

Utilising technology to enhance learning and teaching

Getting your hands dirty and embracing nature
