Location: Bangalore, IN
JD – ECM2 SW developer Role : ECM2 or Level-2 Software developer at the Functional Safety Team, working in a multinational and multi-disciplined environment for Engine Control Units in the Automotive domain.
:
• ECM2 or Level2 software development Engineer located in Bangalore to deliver projects and develop software adhering to functional safety engineering process
• Should support the globally spread Functional Safety teams to develop best practice and processes, as well as develop greater collaboration with development teams across multiple locations
Experience:
• 2-4 years in the automotive domain with minimum 1 year experience in Functional safety development.

• Needs to understand the fundamentals of Functional Safety engineering, relevant safety engineering standards and more importantly understand the concepts.
Technical Skills:
• Experienced in real-time SW system fundamentals (memory access, timing constraints, inputs/outputs, system states, network management, wake-up, sleep, diagnosis)
• Experience in understanding of layered software architecture.
• Languages : Embedded C
• Hardware Platforms : 8 bit, 16 bit, 32 bit controllers
• Microcontrollers : Infineon or Renesas controllers (Aurix TCxxx, Cortex)
• Protocols : I2C, UART, CAN, SPI, API, FlexRay
• Peripherals : Timers, PWM, ADC, RAM, ROM
• Testing Tools : Trace - Compilers, Debugger, INCA, CANoE & CANalyser
• Development tools : Cessar CT, K-SAR, Git
• Standard : MISRA-C, ISO26262, ASIL, AUTOSAR
• Management / Tools : SDLC, IMS, Doors, Git-hub is an added advantage
• Ability to understand requirements and derive unit design, implementation and test accordingly
• Knowledge of debugging technique and ability to use Hardware-in-Loop testing
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
