Job Summary:
The Ecommerce Executive will be responsible for supporting the online sales operations and marketing efforts to drive revenue and enhance the customer experience. This role includes managing product listings, optimizing content for search engines, processing orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management:
• Upload and update product listings on the website, ensuring accurate product descriptions, images, prices, and specifications.
• Ensure that product information is consistent across all e-commerce platforms.
• Regularly check inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure product availability.
Order Processing:
• Monitor and process incoming orders from the website, ensuring accurate fulfillment and timely dispatch.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order delivery.
• Resolve any issues related to shipping, returns, or refunds efficiently and professionally.
Customer Service:
• Respond to customer inquiries through various channels (email, chat, phone) in a timely and helpful manner.
• Address customer complaints and issues, ensuring a positive shopping experience and high customer satisfaction.
Ecommerce Platform Optimization:
• Assist in improving the user experience (UX) on the website, ensuring a seamless and intuitive browsing experience.
• Work with the marketing team to implement SEO strategies to improve product visibility and increase organic traffic.
• Monitor website performance, identifying areas for improvement in site navigation, page load speed, and checkout process.
Sales & Marketing Support:
• Assist in creating and managing promotional campaigns, including discounts, offers, and seasonal sales.
• Collaborate with the digital marketing team to run email marketing campaigns, social media promotions, and paid advertising to boost product visibility.
Analytics & Reporting:
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, conversion rates, sales trends, and customer engagement.
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance and online marketing effectiveness, offering recommendations for improvement.
Market Research:
• Stay updated with the latest e-commerce trends, competitor activities, and new tools that can enhance the online sales process.
• Conduct market research to understand customer preferences and recommend strategies to improve product offerings.
Collaborative Work:
• Collaborate with the creative, design, and content teams to ensure cohesive branding and marketing strategies.
• Work with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and smooth handling of returns.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related field (preferably 1-2 years).
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, wordpress, Woo commerce etc.).
• Familiarity with online marketing tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media platforms, etc.).
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
