Job Description
As an Ecommerce Executive, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the online sales activities of the company. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth and enhancing the overall online shopping experience for customers. Your duties will involve managing various aspects of the ecommerce platform, implementing digital marketing strategies, and analyzing data to optimize performance.
Responsibilities:
Ecommerce Platform Management:
Manage and update the company's ecommerce platform, ensuring product listings are accurate, well-organized, and visually appealing.
Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with the operations team, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Collaborate with the IT team to address technical issues and implement necessary updates or improvements.
Conduct regular audits to ensure the website is user-friendly, responsive, and optimized for search engines.
Digital Marketing:
Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive website traffic, increase conversion rates, and improve online visibility.
Implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
Manage paid advertising campaigns (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads) to maximize ROI.
Utilize email marketing, social media, and other channels to engage customers and drive repeat purchases.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Customer Experience Enhancement:
Continuously improve the online shopping experience by identifying and implementing user experience (UX) enhancements.
Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and ratings, and take necessary actions to address concerns or issues promptly.
Optimize the checkout process, minimize cart abandonment, and improve overall conversion rates.
Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution of customer queries or complaints.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
Conduct regular market research to identify industry trends, competitors' strategies, and opportunities for growth.
Analyze sales and website performance data, generate reports, and provide insights to management.
Identify areas for improvement and propose strategies to optimize sales and increase customer retention.
Stay updated with the latest ecommerce and digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in managing ecommerce platforms, preferably in a retail or consumer goods industry.
Strong understanding of digital marketing techniques, SEO, SEM, and social media platforms.
Proficiency in using ecommerce platforms, content management systems (CMS), and analytics tools.
Knowledge of website development and UX/UI principles.
