Job description

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Director of Events is responsible to assist Director of Sales & Marketing to ensure the smooth and efficient of the Events department, covering both the catering sales as well as convention services functions of the hotel.

Job Responsibilities:

The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily

operations, performance analysis, marketing strategies, customer relationships, technical

coordination, and team leadership for our e-commerce platform. This role requires a

strategic and detail-oriented professional who can drive online sales growth, enhance user

experience, and lead a dynamic team.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Website Management:

● Daily Operations: Oversee daily operations of the e-commerce website, ensuring

seamless functionality, including product pages, checkout processes, and customer

service portals.

● Product Listings: Regularly update product listings with new items with your catalog

team, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and high-quality images. Optimize

product titles and descriptions for SEO.

● Catalog management : Creating new catalog for the website for new launches wrt

photos, videos with coordination of design, multimedia n graphic team

● Website Enhancements: Coordinate with the designers and video creators to

identify and implement UX/UI improvements to enhance user experience. Work with

web developers to execute design changes and fix bugs.

● Inventory Management: Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure accurate

stock levels are reflected on the website.

2. Sales & Performance Analysis:

● Data Analysis: Analyze website traffic, sales data, and conversion rates using tools

like Google Analytics. Identify trends and patterns to inform business strategies.

● Reporting: Generate regular performance reports, highlighting key metrics, areas for

improvement, and successes. Present findings to the senior management team.

● Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and improve

overall website performance. Set and monitor sales targets and KPIs.

3. Marketing & Promotions:

● Digital Marketing Campaigns: Plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing

campaigns across various channels including SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and

social media.

● Content Management: Collaborate with the content team to create engaging and

relevant content for the website, blog, and social media platforms.

● Promotional Strategies: Collaborate with Design team and implement promotional

campaigns for festivals, special occasions, and sales events. Track the effectiveness

of promotions and adjust strategies as needed.

● Affiliate & Partnership Programs: Manage affiliate marketing programs and explore

potential partnerships to drive traffic and sales.

4. Customer Relationship Management:

● Customer Service: Oversee the customer service team, ensuring prompt and

effective resolution of customer queries and issues. Develop FAQs and automated

responses for common inquiries.

● Feedback Management: Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve

products and services. Implement changes based on customer suggestions to

enhance satisfaction.

● Loyalty Programs: Develop and manage customer loyalty programs to increase

repeat purchases and build long-term relationships with customers.

5. Technical Coordination:

● Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers,

including web developers, payment gateways, and logistics partners.

● Technology Upgrades: Stay updated on the latest e-commerce technologies and

trends. Recommend and implement new tools and technologies to improve website

functionality and performance.

● Security & Compliance: Ensure the website complies with legal and security

standards, including data protection regulations and secure payment processing.

6. Team Leadership:

● Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce professionals,

including designers marketing specialists, customer service representatives, and web

developers.

● Training & Development: Identify training needs and opportunities for team

members. Facilitate professional development and skill enhancement.

● Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as

product development, design, multimedia team and logistics, to ensure cohesive

operations and strategy alignment.

ADD ON RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.

2. Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer

base

3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports and forecasts.

4. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client/customer relationships

5. Strategic Collaboration for business needs and objectives

6. Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

7. Understand category-specific landscapes and trends

8. Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts

+. Building strong and collaborative relationships with internal/external stakeholders.

10. Coordinating with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of products & services.

11. Analysing market trends and competitor activities and formulating strategies to respond

to these.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

1. Knowledge of the Indian retail market and consumer behavior.

2. Creative thinking and an eye for design.

3. Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.

4. Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO/SEM strategies, and e-commerce

platforms.

5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

6. Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Familiarity with e-commerce tools and analytics platforms.

+. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

10. Proven experience in managing e-commerce operations, preferably within the retail or gifting industry

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
